The Stars of NARL, AMRL, SSRL, CARS and N4NITES will be at it again in our second charity race benefiting VICTORY JUNCTION. Jay Shuit dominated our first charity race but that doesn't mean there wasn't hard charging door to door action. Drivers raced hard and clean and put on a show for our RLMTV.com commentators and family and friends watching on the internet, and the ICR is looking to do it all over again for our spring race. Atlanta BR will be the next challenge for the ICR drivers, not anything like the consistent high speeds of Michigan, but is one of the fastest tracks in Stock Car Racing. The ICR Atlanta 250 will once again be broadcast on RLMTV.com generously donated by N4Nites Simulation racing, and we know will give us another great show. CARS will again be donating the trophies for the top 3 finishers, just ask Shuit , Simmons, and Moyer about how great their trophies look on their mantels.
ICR is asking for a $10.00 donation to participate in our race, and all donations of any kind above that are welcome. Our last even scored V.J. $330.00, and we are hoping to give event more setting a goal of $500 dollars for this event. Drivers if you know of business that will sponsor your cars, ask them to match your donation to race, and run their companies paint scheme for the event, or family members match your donation, and sponsor your car. Have them watch live May 1st on RLM.TV.com to cheer you on. We are in tough times but giving what you can makes all the difference for the children at Victory Junction.
The Atlanta 250 will have a cut off of 35 drivers, but all are encouraged to sign up and try to qualify in our Warm up race on Friday April 30th. The top 10 from our Michigan race are locked in to our Atlanta race, so there are 25 spots up for grabs on Friday night Warm Up. The top 25 qualifiers (excluding the drivers locked in) will race in the main event Saturday Night, so get those setups read it could be fractions of a second that get you in to the main event.
Drivers are asked to fill out the driver application on the web site, and get their donations in by APRIL 26, 2010
Friday Night April 30th will be the ICR Atlanta WARM UP race, and just like our first event should be fun, and help get our competitors some work on their setups.
